there is a major coastal walking path which passes the front of prospect house. i walked it many times during my stay. below, the pictures will better my attempts to describe it 1000-fold; i hope! also, i must mention how endearing i've found the british national trails [walking/riding] path system. they're everywhere, criss-crossing the country. how lovely to find people of all ages, but especially retirees, with their packs, hats, dogs and walking sticks!to the left is a view of prospect house from the trail.
to the right gives one a portrait of the prevaling winds and the winter gales!
